Ideas

If you haven't yet subscribed to James Altucher, I'd recommend you do. So far, I've found his posts (and books, or at least The Power of No which I didn't say no to and bought) to be intriguing. And they make you think. And wonder. One of my favourite of his is thinking up 10 ideas a day. Ideas give birth to ideas. "Work your idea muscle," he'd say.

I admit, it seems tough to come up with 10 ideas everyday. Or at least, maybe initially. My favourite time to think them up is when I'm zoning out during the daily commute, or in the bath. Some of mine are maybe crazy. Maybe. Maybe? I don't know. What do you think? Below the few that I thought up so far.

• Social experiment choosing people (for occupations) who disregard "rules" and go against the flow like Wisma Atria's Orchard MRT entrance and exit only sign for pedestrians.
• Photography mocking real life unspoken or deliberately ignored situations: "Ugly" person walking leashed well dressed model on fours. Making people a slave to fashion, that sort of thing.
• Simulate night sky photography with watercolours in water plus sprinkles and against black background and flash.
• Speed dating choice based on song(s) currently playing in people's playlist, or based on EZ-Link card (Singapore's stored value card for public transport) value. Higher value inside EZ-Link represents confidence in not losing items, and therefore themselves and/or people?
• HR criteria based on whether candidate hold lift doors for needy. Setup situation at lift lobby with cam. 
• Crispy skin sio bak moon cake. Discover recipe. 
• Videos of road bikes. Done well.
• Social media, rewarding silent supporters (those who quietly and often like and share our posts, for example) on our shop Facebook pages.
• "Fappy" humour song to the tune of Pharrell William's Happy.
• Morgan Freeman voice over for Lucy trailer
• Technic working version of new Lego Tumbler. Working susp and steering.
• Working Bat Pod release from new Lego Tumbler.
• Street photography with remote flash zoom in to focus on and fire upon face. Singled out from crowd.
• Everyone having a good basic idea to real bike fit.
• Children taught in schools about money, handling it and growing it. Tuition centre for it?
• 9gag handwriting analysis?
• 9gag motivational posts with text added to my photos.
• App for handwriting analysis?
• Website for handwriting analysis?
• Facebook page for handwriting analysis?
• Free handwriting analysis?
• Sensitive positions like teaching/tuition teachers screened with handwriting analysis?
• Mobile advert with sticker on bike and cycling jersey.
• Cycling carrier bag with branding.
• Pies sold under another brand that doesn't do so well in pies but has clients that wants pies?
• Shampoo advert, ladies sniffing maturely dressed baby's head. Cut scene to adult in same suit with ladies sniffing. Tag line about shampoo scent, Irresistible .
