The Knight

A photo of a migrant worker who is currently involved in the public housing upgrading projects in my neighbourhood. I was quite taken by his quiet, unassuming nature and dust covered skin and knew that I had to get at least one shot of him.

Taken with the Canon EOS 7D, 100mm F2.8L IS Macro. A 580 EX II flash was set on the table top and racked out + angled at 24 deg, fired wirelessly from his right, just out of the frame. The midday sun from the carpark on his left, out of the frame, lit his arm quite nicely too, methinks.
