17) A Cruiser (Vindula dejone erotella) cruisin' on my shoe.

18) One of my NG shots, but thought I'd share this since the Leopard Lacewing in the background decided to swoop into the frame and perform a photobomb. The butterfly in the middle left of the photo is the Clipper (Parthenos sylvia).

19) These trio of Leopard Lacewings (Cethosia cyane) shot overhead are part of the efforts of Singapore's HortPark to breed and recreate habitats for butterfly species made vulnerable by urbanization. Fill flash wasn't necessary to light up the butterflies and flowers despite being shot against the bright morning sky and backlit canopy.

20) A Leopard Lacewing (Cethosia cyane) enjoying breakfast on the go.

21) A male Cruiser  (Vindula dejone erotella) feeding on the Blood Flower (Asclepias curassavica).
The Blood Flower is the host plant for the Plain Tiger (Danaus chrysippus chrysippus) butterfly. Its brilliant orange and red flowers blossom all year round. The plant has a white milky poisonous sap, and is native to Tropical America.
